Many of the paintings and batiks from this collection were made for mindful art workshops with the young ladies from the Jean Augustine Centre for Young Women's Empowerment. 

A portion of the sales go towards the Jean Augustine Centre and to Trails Youth Initiatives in order to empower and positively impact the lives of young women and vulnerable youth.  

Some of the paintings were also created as a tool for healing and transformation during a difficult time or as a mindful art practice.
